Happy Harley

Harley is doing much better. He is a tough little guy. Tonight is his last night for his final medication. WOW...that was A LOT of medicine. Luckily he is just on the tiny pills now. It is kind of hard to give pills to a cat. The bare spot on his front let is where he had his IV. His hair is starting to grow back slowly. Everyday, he seems to be more & more like his old self again!! You can tell by the photos, he's not spoiled or anything!! :) Thanks for stopping by.

My New Camera

I thought I would share a picture of my new camera. I ordered it from Costco.com. I love that they have a great return policy if you are not satisfied with your purchase. This is a step up from my last, so it gives me a few more options & features. I think I'm going to have fun with it!!

Super easy...

Here's another simple & quick Memory Box Summer Penguin Card. I just love the Posey Penguin stamp. It can be used for so many different occasions. Penguin image by Memory Box, Background stamp by Stampin Up, & Sentiment stamp by Savvy. Inks Versa Magic & Versa Fine.

Penguin ATC's anyone?

I'm thinking of starting a Memory Box Penguin ATC swap depending on interest. You would be able to use any of the Memory Box Penguins, not just the Summer Penguins. Please leave me a comment if you would be interested in joining so I can contact you if I start a swap. Thanks for stopping by!!

Finally....

Finally....my first summer penguin entry. I wanted to get started on this a lot sooner, but my camera was failing me. I had to purchase another one, & it's not quite as user friendly as my last. I am not super tech savvy as well. I'm still trying to get it figured out, but I hope to get in some more entries before the contest ends!! Pattern cardstock & image by Memory Box. Stickles glitter on fish.

I haven't been able to post any pics because my camera was not working properly, so I am in the process of figuring out my new camera. Hope to have something to share with you soon.

In the meantime....

Check out Kristina's blog. She's offering up some blog candy. She's such a SWEET gal!!

Mini Class - Pocket Card - Sketch Challenge

I wasn't sure what sentiment to use with this pocket card, so I left it blank for now. I may add one later. All images by A Muse Artstamps, ink by VersaFine, VersaColor, & Color Box.

Please Say A Prayer For Harley

This is our sweet baby kitty Harley. He became very sick at the beginning of the week with an infection in his liver. He has been at the vet since Monday and we miss him very much. They have been treating him very aggressively and tell me that his outcome could go either way. He has shown some signs of improvement, but he still has a high temperature, the bilirubens in his liver are still at a high level, and he has not been eating on his own. You normally can't keep food away from this guy. He is a very young cat & full of life. Please say a prayer for him to overcome this. We want him to come home!! We love you Harley!!

**UPDATE** 7/6/07
We got to bring Harley home this evening. He started to eat on his own, and the vet feels he may do better at this point trying to treat him at home. He still needs to get his temperature back to normal and his bilirubens are still high. He is on 4 different medications twice a day!! YIKES. I will take him back to the vet on Monday 7/16/07 for a follow up visit. I will keep you posted.
